摘要：新中国初期中国城市社会发生的质的变化之一就是解放前遗留下来的各类旧式社团的湮灭,从而改变了城市社会形态。一般认为,它们是伴随着新中国初期急风骤雨式的革命形势和计划经济的建立而土崩瓦解的。但深入历史可以发现,它们的消亡更深刻地受制于新政权的革命理论。它们因着新政权对其政治定性的不同而有着不同的命运轨迹。这些不同类型社团的具体消亡过程展现了中国共产党独特的国家政权建设逻辑以及新的国家政权对城市社会的重构进程。
The disappearance of the ＂old＂ social associations was the Communist government＇s one significant break with the past. This paper traces back to this complicated historical process and tries to find out the logic it followed by diving into the archives in Shanghai. Different from the common viewpoints, the societies didn＇ t break up all at once, rather they had different path which depend on their political nature set by the CCP. It shows us the peculiar logic of the state-building of CCP and outlines the process of the new government＇s state-building in the urban area.
