摘要:NOVELTY - Preparation of binder-free manganese dioxide/polypyrrole composite electrode material, involves (i) immersing foamed nickel in aqueous potassium permanganate solution, performing hydrolysis reaction at hydrothermal conditions of 140-200 degrees C, growing manganese dioxide nano-arrays on the foamed nickel skeleton, (ii) using the foamed nickel in which the nano-array of manganese dioxide is grown as a working electrode in the three-electrode system, immersing in an electrolyte solution containing a pyrrole monomer and carrying out galvanostatic electrochemical deposition. USE - Preparation of binder-free manganese dioxide/polypyrrole composite electrode material for use as electrode material for supercapacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method effectively avoids the electrode preparation process in the use of adhesives and reduces system resistance. The polypyrrole film can improve the wettability of manganese dioxide electrode and electrolyte in the case where the ion diffusion channel is not blocked while adding additional Faraday pseudocapacitance. The composite electrode material exhibits excellent electrochemical performance.
