摘要：单词阅读和拼写能力是儿童在语言习得的过程中不可或缺的基本技能。通过选取温州市某小学五年级汉语儿童英语学习者为被试,考察英汉语语音意识对发展其读写能力的作用,结果表明:英汉语音意识与意识之间存在着紧密联系,且与词汇拼读能力密切相关;在对英语读写能力的预测中,英语首音-韵脚意识是重要指标;拼写较之于阅读与语音意识的关系更为密切,英语首音韵脚和汉语音位意识对拼写具有有效的预测能力。
Word reading and spelling are the basic skills for children in their process of language acquisition. This study selects 73 fifth-graders from a primary school in Wenzhou as participants to examine the effects of English and Chinese phonological awareness on the development of their literacy. The results indicate that: 1. English phonological awareness and the Chinese one are closely related, and both are related to English word reading and spelling ability;2. English onset-rime awareness is the strongest predictor of English word reading skills;3. Compared with reading ability, the spelling one has a closer relation to phonological awareness and English onsetrime awareness and Chinese phonemic awareness can best predict word spelling.
