摘要:An arabinogalactan named JSP-1a was isolated from the waste form Jasmine tea processing through DEAE Sepharose FF and Sephacyl S-200 chromatography. JSP-1a had an average molecular weight of 87.5 kDa and consisted of galactose (59.60%) and arabinose (33.89%), mannose (4.81%) and rhamnose (1.70%). JSP-1a was found to be type II arabinogalactan with a main chain of 1, 6-linked Galp residues which partly substituted at O-3 position by single T-α-L-Araf, and other possible branch chains of 1, 3-β-D-Galp, 1, 4-β-D-Manp, 1, 5-α-L-Araf, T-α-L-Araf and T-β-D-Galp. Bioactivity assays showed JSP-1a possessed significant immunomodulatory effects by increasing phagocytosis, promoting the production of NO, ROS, TNF-α and IL-6 in RAW264.7 macrophages. Furthermore, JSP-1a might identify and bind to TLR4 on RAW264.7 macrophages and activated NF-κB translocation. These results suggested that JSP-1a could be developed as a potential and safe immunostimulator for application in immunological diseases or functional foods. ? 2022, The Authors.
