摘要：释意理论是以塞莱丝柯维奇为代表的法国释意学派在口译研究与实践中研究创立的口译研究理论,关注的是口译的意义传递现象。根据释意派口译理论,口译包括三个主要程序:源语理解、脱离源语词语外壳和译语表达。本论文以释意理论为基础,主张口译的目标是源语的意义而非语言,意义是脱离源语语言外壳的产物。本文将运用释意派口译理论对"两会"中外记者招待会现场口译中温总理文言诗词口译实例进行评析,旨在进一步说明口译的释意性。
The interpretative theory represented by Seleskovitch in France focuses on the conveyance of the intended meaning （the sense） derived from the context in the course of interpreting which comprises three stages-comprehension, deverablization and reformulation. Based on this theory, this article maintains that in interpreting the interpreter should aim to interpret the meaning of the source text instead of the language form itself. This article will discuss the application of the theory in Chinese-English interpreting with examples taken from the press conference of the ＂Two Sessions＂.
