摘要:NOVELTY - A halogen-free phosphorus nitrogen flame retardant material contains phosphorus nitrogen intumescent flame retardant, metal oxide carried by molecular sieve and flame retardant epoxy resin. Phosphorus nitrogen intumescent flame retardant is pentaerythritol phosphate, dipentaerythritol phosphate, tripentaerythritol phosphate, pentaerythritol phosphite and their corresponding melamine salt from CN1446844A, polyamminoum phosphate or a mixture of melamine phosphate (MPP) and pentaerythritol. USE - A halogen-free phosphorus nitrogen flame retardant material. ADVANTAGE - Fire resistance of the epoxy resin is increased, amount of flame retardant is reduced, material cost is reduced and mechanical property is increased. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A halogen-free phosphorus nitrogen flame retardant material contains phosphorus nitrogen intumescent flame retardant, metal oxide carried by molecular sieve and flame retardant epoxy resin. Phosphorus nitrogen intumescent flame retardant is pentaerythritol phosphate, dipentaerythritol phosphate, tripentaerythritol phosphate, pentaerythritol phosphite and their corresponding melamine salt from CN1446844A, polyamminoum phosphate or a mixture of MPP and pentaerythritol. Flame retardant epoxy resin is formed by adding phosphorus nitrogen intumescent flame retardant in epoxy resin, heating to 120 degrees C, stirring for 0.5 hours, cooling to 80 degrees C, adding the molecular sieve for carrying the metal oxide, stirring mechanically for 0.25 hours, adding lentine curing agent, mixing uniformly and heating in vacuum oven at 80-160 degrees C to cure for 6-12 hours. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation method of molecular sieve carrying metal oxide by ion exchange method using acid Zeolite Socony Mobil #5 (ZSM-5) whose ratio of Si to Al is 20-100 (35-80) as molecular sieve.
