摘要：NOVELTY - A fluorine-containing linear phenolic resin (I) or (I) is new. USE - Fluorine-containing linear phenolic resin used as agent for solidifying epoxy resin to prepare rough thermosetting resin composition (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The phenolic resin greatly improves the comprehensive performance of solidified epoxy resin. The method of preparation employs acid catalysis method and controls the production process by p-formaldehyde feed in batches, thus avoiding problems during production process. The method uses recyclable reaction solvent, thus it is an environment-friendly production method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A fluorine-containing linear phenolic resin of formula (I) or (II) is new. n=2-10. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of compound (I) or (II); and (2) a rough thermosetting resin composition containing epoxy resin and solidifying agent, where the solidifying agent is the phenolic resin.
