摘要：NOVELTY - A desalting process for purifying beta-aminopropanoic acid in which the skeleton of strong-acid cationic exchange resin brings higher charge density, the aqueous solution of salt-containing beta-amino-propanoic acid is loaded in strong-acid cationic exchange resin column and then leached by deionized water to desalt. ADVANTAGE - Its advantages are no need of large-quantity eluent and regenerating agent, simple process, short period, high output rate up to over 90%, and no environmental pollution. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A desalting process for purifying beta-aminopropanoic acid features that based on the principle that the skeleton of strong-acid cationic exchange resin brings higher charge density, which can repel the strong ionizing medium in solution from the resin particles into solution and allow the weak one to diffuse into resin particles, the aqueous solution of salt-containing beta-amino-propanoic acid is loaded in strong-acid cationic exchange resin column and then leached by deionized water to desalt.
