摘要:NOVELTY - An antistatic agent comprises 20-30 wt.% of p-styrene sulfonate, 40-60 wt.% of methacrylate, and 0.5-1 wt.% of initiator; where the methacrylate is methyl methacrylate, ethyl methacrylate, propyl methacrylate, n-butyl methacrylate, iso-butyl methacrylate, or methacrylate polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether; the initiator is composite system of persulfate and sulfite, or water-soluble azo initiator; and in the composite system of persulfate and sulfite, the weight ratio of persulfate to sulfite is 5:1 to 3:1. USE - The antistatic agent is useful for industrial and commercial applications. ADVANTAGE - The antistatic agent makes methacrylate and p-styrene sulfonate generate copolymerization to obtain diblock copolymer; where the diblock copolymer adjusts the high fusing point of p-styrene sulfonate to make the antistatic agent be able to process in the forming temperature range of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). Moreover, it enhances the antistatic performance of ABS without affecting main mechanical property of ABS. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An antistatic agent comprises 20-30 wt.% of p-styrene sulfonate, 40-60 wt.% of methacrylate, and 0.5-1 wt.% of initiator; where the methacrylate is methyl methacrylate, ethyl methacrylate, propyl methacrylate, n-butyl methacrylate, iso-butyl methacrylate, or methacrylate polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether; the initiator is composite system of persulfate and sulfite, or water-soluble azo initiator; in the composite system of persulfate and sulfite, the weight ratio of persulfate to sulfite is 5:1 to 3:1; and the water-soluble azo initiator is 2,2'-azodiisobutyl amidine hydrochloride, 2,2'-azo(2-(2-imidazolin-2-yl)propane)dihydrochloride, 4,4'-azobis(4-cyanovaleric acid), or azodiisopropyl imidazoline. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is a preparation method of the antistatic agent comprising dispersing p-styrene sulfonate into deionized water to form 20-40 wt.% of aqueous solution; inputting nitrogen gas (N2); adjusting temperature to 60-80 degrees C; dissolving methacrylate into 0-100 ml of solvent; mixing the methacrylate solution with p-styrene sulfonate aqueous solution and blending; dripping initiator; where the contents of p-styrene sulfonate, methacrylate, and initiator are respectively equal to 20-30%, 40-60%, and 0.5-1%; reacting for 8-10 hours; after ending the reaction, precipitating the product by anhydrous methanol or anhydrous ethanol; filtering by water; repeatedly operating for 3-4 times; taking out the precipitate; drying for 12 hours at 50 degrees C; and obtaining the required antistatic agent; where the solvent is tetrahydrofuran, ethanol, or N,N-dimethylacetamide.
