摘要:NOVELTY - Separating enantiomers of guaiacol glyceryl ether enantiomers by simulated moving bed chromatography with cellulose tri(3,5)-dimethylphenyl carbamate coated silica gel as a stationary phase and a mixture of n-hexane and ethanol as a mobile phase of a simulated moving bed chromatographic system from racemic guaiacol glyceryl ether to high purity R-(-)-guaiacol glycerol ether and S-(+)-guaiacol glycerol ethers, is claimed. USE - The method is useful for separating enantiomers of guaiacol glycerol ether (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: is carried out in a continuous, simple, cost efficient and environmental friendly manner; and uses recyclable solvent.
