摘要：NOVELTY - A modified cation exchange resin is grafted with hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium cationic group. USE - The modified cation exchange resin is used for oil containing waste water. ADVANTAGE - The modified cation exchange resin has improved treatment effect on oil waste water. The resin provides removal rate of oil from oil waste water of greater than 80% and removal rate of turbidity of greater than 60 %. The resin can be prepared in simple treatment technique and does not need chemical agents. The resin is low cost and allows oil to be recovered after waste water treatment, thus avoids the secondary pollution and high power consumption. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for Preparation of modified cation exchange resin comprising immersing a sort of cation exchange resin into the solution of hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide, heating the mixture, and allowing them to react at a constant temperature.
