摘要:NOVELTY - A mixture of aluminum source and titanium source is added to solution (A), and hydrolyzed at 5-70 degrees C for 0.5-5 hours. The precipitate is dried and roasted at 200-1000 degrees C for 3-5 hours to obtain biforate alumina-titania. The aluminum source is aluminum isopropoxide or aluminum sec-butoxide. The solution (A) is aqueous solution containing acid substance, solution of mixture of water containing acid substance and co-solvent, aqueous solution containing alkali substance, or solution of mixture of water containing alkali substance and co-solvent. USE - Biforate alumina-titania is used as catalyst carrier for selective hydrogenation reaction, hydrogenation desulfurization reaction and oxidation reaction (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The biforate alumina-titania is easily manufactured. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A mixture of aluminum source and titanium source is added to solution (A), and hydrolyzed at 5-70 degrees C for 0.5-5 hours. The precipitate is dried and roasted at 200-1000 degrees C for 3-5 hours to obtain biforate alumina-titania. The aluminum source is aluminum isopropoxide or aluminum sec-butoxide. The titanium source is titanium ethoxide, tetrapropyl orthotitanate, tetraisopropyl titanate or tetrabutyl titanate. The solution (A) is aqueous solution containing acid substance, solution of mixture of water containing acid substance and co-solvent, aqueous solution containing alkali substance, or solution of mixture of water containing alkali substance and co-solvent. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for biforate alumina-titania, which has large-hole diameter of 0.3-2 microns and medium-hole diameter of 2-30 microns measured using scanning electron microscope and physical adsorption instrument.
