摘要:This paper reports a low-temperature route to prepare monodispersed mesoporous SnO2 nanospheres. This method is based on hydrothermal reaction of sodium stannate trihydrate with sodium hydroxide using [EMIm]BF4 (1-ethy1-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate) as structure-directing agent. The phase composition and morphology of the nanospheres were characterized by means of XRD, SEM, TEM and nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherm, respectively. The as-prepared nanospheres are mutually independent with uniform size distribution and good structural integrity. The effects of the reaction conditions (amounts of NaOH, amounts of [EMIm]BF4 and the reaction time) on morphology of the final products were studied. A possible formation mechanism of the nanospheres is proposed according to the results of time-dependent reactions. (C) 2012 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
