摘要：NOVELTY - Carbon fibers are recycled by providing greater than or equal to 1 object comprising carbon fibers and resin and contacting object with greater than or equal to 1 light beam to produce recycled carbon fibers. USE - Method of recycling carbon fibers. ADVANTAGE - The recycling method is simple and effective, and the system is inexpensive. The recovered carbon fibers are free of surface defects, maintain a uniform and orderly orientation, and can be separated from resin. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for system for recycling carbon fibers comprising greater than or equal to 1 support surface configured to attach to object comprising carbon fibers and resin and greater than or equal to 1 light source configured to contact the object with light beam to produce recycled carbon fibers.
