摘要:NOVELTY - An aldehyde group-containing compound (I) reacts with (2S,4R)-4-hydroxypyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid in presence of an acid catalyst to obtain pyrrole-containing compound (II). USE - Manufacture of pyrrole-containing compound. ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently provides high yield of pyrrole-containing compound by simple method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An aldehyde group-containing compound of formula: Ar'-CHO (I) reacts with (2S,4R)-4-hydroxypyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid in presence of an acid catalyst to obtain pyrrole-containing compound of formula (II). Ar'=5 or 6 membered aromatic ring or 5 or 6 membered hetero aromatic ring having 1-3 heteroatom(s) chosen from N, O or S (both optionally substituted by halo, nitro, hydroxy, cyano or alkoxy).
