摘要:Hardware impairment is common in practical transceivers. This work analyzes the impact of hardware impairment on the performance of dual-hop relaying. In the analysis, both multiplicative I/Q imbalance and additive hardware impairment are considered at all nodes. The outage probabilities of amplify-and-forward (AF) and decode-and-forward (DF) relaying schemes are derived. The AF scheme includes both fixed-gain AF and variable-gain AF. Optimum maximum likelihood detectors are obtained. Numerical results are presented to show the effects of hardware impairment on relaying performances.
