摘要:Researchers have conducted investigations to demonstrate phenazine-based ratiometric Hg2+ probes with well-resolved dual emissions as a sensing mechanism by vibration-induced emission (VIE). They have envisioned that phenazine derivatives such as N,N′-diphenyldihydrodibenzo[a,c]phenazine (DPAC) can be utilized as a scaffold for the design of a sensing probe. They also demonstrate that it is plausible to combine the phenazine scaffold with a carefully designed layout and use the VIE mechanism in metal ion sensing, specifically in Hg2+ detection with a specific coordination site of certain metal ions.
