摘要：NOVELTY - Preparation of sclareol comprises mixing sclareol extract in an organic solvent, executing saponification reaction at 50-130 degrees C using an inorganic base, washing the obtained organic phase in buffer solution, and crystallizing at - 20-0 degrees C. The content of the sclareol in the extract is greater than or equal to 45 wt.%. The organic solvent is saturation alkane that is not dissolved to water or slightly dissolved to water. The pH value of the buffer solution of 5-8. USE - Method for the preparation of sclareol (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method obtains a product having 93 wt.% purity.
