摘要:Two dimers, based on perylene derivatives linked by urea, were synthesized; both dimers are in linear conformations. Fluorescence lifetimes and fluorescent properties of the dimers were investigated. They show fluorescence quenching in the presence of fluoride ion. The binding constants were calculated by the change of fluorescence, and the values were high (of the order of similar to 10(5) M-1). (C) 2004 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
