摘要:The proposed method deals with a common type of data in reliability engineering with the number of failures checked at predetermined intervals. Different from the numerical algorithms, approximate analytical expressions for the Parameter Estimation of Weibull Distributions are obtained in this paper by fitting the probability density with the frequency histogram directly. Theoretical proof of the analytical solutions is given in terms of the dual least squares method, and the effectiveness of the analytical solutions is also verified through Monte Carlo simulations. Moreover, the method's superiority is demonstrated by comparing it with the related techniques in the literature. Finally, the proposed method is applied to the Hong Kong casualty data from the World Health Organization, and the distribution of population in each age group among the unknown casualties is effectively predicted. ?
