摘要:The dynamic mechanical properties and phase separation behavior of an organic hybrid consisting of chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) and tetrakis (2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-pipetidyl)-1,2,3,4-butane tetracarboxylate (LA-57) during heat-treatment at 50 degreesC were investigated. The untreated CPE/LA-57 (50/50) sample shows two loss tangent (tan delta) peaks, whereas the samples heat-treated at 50 degreesC show three tan delta peaks. These three tan delta peaks (23, 51 and 68 degreesC) can be attributed to the glass transitions of CPE-rich matrix and LA-57-rich domains resulting from phase separations of initial CPE-rich matrix and initial LA-57-rich domains, respectively. As a result, the temperature dependence of tan delta for an CPE/LA-57 blend can be controlled by selecting heat-treatment conditions.
