摘要：NOVELTY - Aniline is diazotized, to obtain phenyl diazonium salt. The obtained salt is coupled with o-hydroxyphenetole under alkaline condition, to obtain 2-ethoxy-4-(phenyldiazenyl)phenol. The obtained 2-ethoxy-4-(phenyldiazenyl)phenol is reduced, to obtain 4-hydroxy-5-ethoxyaniline. USE - Synthesis of 4-hydroxy-5-ethoxyaniline. ADVANTAGE - The method is environmentally-friendly, and enables efficient and economical production of 4-hydroxy-5-ethoxyaniline without using organic solvent.
