摘要:NOVELTY - Alkyl carbonate and naphthene base alcohol are prepared by reacting alkylalkoxy-containing bivalent ring compound with carbon dioxide in presence of catalyst, e.g. alkyl quat. amine, to produce an alkyl carbonate compound. The alkyl carbonate compound reacts with an alkylalkoxy in presence of another catalyst, e.g. alkali metal to produce naphthene base alcohol. USE - The method is for preparing alkyl carbonate and naphthene base alcohol. ADVANTAGE - The method can synchronically prepare alkyl carbonate and naphthene base alcohol as high quality industrial chemicals. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of alkyl carbonate and naphthene base alcohol comprises reacting alkylalkoxy-containing bivalent ring compound of formula (I) with carbon dioxide in presence of catalyst to produce an alkyl carbonate compound of formula (II). (II) reacts with alkylalkoxy of formula R1OH in presence of another catalyst (catalyst 2) to produce naphthene base alcohol. A=3-7C bivalent alkyl, preferably bivalent hexanaphthene alkyl; R=1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy, halo, or R3NR4; n=0-5;and R1=1-6C alkyl;R3, R4=H, 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy, or halo. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic diagram of a system for synchronically preparing alkyl carbonate and naphthene base alcohol.
