摘要：The critical temperature, pressure, and density of the ternary mixture ethylene + benzene + ethylbenzene have been measured. The hard-sphere three-parameter equation of state was used to calculate the critical points using the Hicks-Young method. The experimental data of the critical points of the three binary mixtures ethylene + benzene, benzene + ethylbenzene, and ethylene + ethylbenzene have been correlated. With the interaction coefficients obtained from the binary mixtures, the critical points of the ternary mixture (ethylene, benzene, and ethylbenzene) were predicted. The agreement between the predicted and the experimental values is satisfactory.
