摘要：NOVELTY - Modifying butyl rubber with maleic anhydride comprises adding butyl rubber, maleic anhydride and organic solvent into a reactor to make the maleic anhydride and the butyl rubber react under the condition of temperature of higher than the boiling point of the solvent to obtain the target material. The organic solvent is alkylbenzene, 1-4C halogenated alkane, 1-6C alkane, naphthenic hydrocarbon and tetrahydrofuran. USE - Method for modifying butyl rubber with maleic anhydride (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method simplifies the preparation step of maleic anhydride modified butyl rubber.
