摘要：癸卯学制作为清末新政期间极其重要的制度创新,对20世纪中国学校教育制度产生过重大影响。其颁行推动了全国范围内的兴办新学,使各级各类新式学校都得到了不同程度的实践,为民国时期的教育改革奠定了坚实的基础。本文拟以近代社会转型为背景,以癸卯学制的主要内容和特点为依据,结合该学制实施后的实际效果,进一步探讨其对中国教育近代化的作用与影响。
＂Guimao Educational System＂ is regarded as an extremely important innovation towards the end of Qing Dynasty in China. It has tremendous influence on the schooling system during the 20th century, and has established the first cornerstone for modern Chinese education. Its implementation brought a great upsurge for rapidly establishing the new study nation-wide, enabled all kinds of the new schools at all levels to practice to some extent, and laid a sound foundation for the education reform by the Republic of China. This article, taking modem social transformation as the setting, further discusses its role to the modernization of China＇s education, on the basis of the major contents and features of the system as well as the actual effect of its implementation.
