摘要:To achieve the upgrade of the existing magnetic automated guided vehicle (AGV) system in a low cost and easy way, the method for dealing with the interface between the new scheme and the original system is the key. In this paper, LIDAR and Raspberry Pi hardware, open-source Robot Operating System (ROS) and Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) algorithm are added into the existing magnetic guided AGV system to overcome the low intelligence level of magnetic guided AGV and the high cost of the laser navigation technology. A hybrid navigation approach by a fusion algorithm of laser navigation control signal and magnetic sensor signal at the level of transmission and reception is proposed to overcome the problems about interface. Compared to other hybrid ways, this method remains the original system unchanged to the greatest extent to reduce the development difficulty. The experimental results show that the accuracy remains the same and the time to run a cycle is reduced by almost half in the hybrid navigation system. The hybrid navigation method provides a convenient solution for the intelligent upgrade and development of the existing wide range of warehousing magnetic guided AGV system. ? 2023 SPIE.
