摘要：NOVELTY - A small-interfering (si) RNA and short hairpin RNA (shRNA) capable of specifically inhibiting expression of androglobin, is new. The siRNA comprises sense and antisense strand having sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 1 and 2 respectively. The shRNA comprises sense strand having 59 base pair sequence (SEQ ID NO: 3) fully defined in the specification and antisense strand having 60 base pair sequence (SEQ ID NO: 4) fully defined in the specification. USE - The siRNA, shRNA and transcripted DNA sequences are useful for preparing medicine for treating glioma (all claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A small-interfering (si) RNA and short hairpin RNA (shRNA) capable of specifically inhibiting expression of androglobin, is new. The siRNA comprises sense and antisense strand having sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 1 and 2 respectively. The shRNA comprises sense strand having 59 base pair sequence (SEQ ID NO: 3) fully defined in the specification and antisense strand having 60 base pair sequence (SEQ ID NO: 4) fully defined in the specification. 5'-gcauuuacaggcgacacauau-3' (SEQ ID NO: 1) and 5'-auaugugucgccuguaaaugc-3' (SEQ ID NO: 2).
