摘要:NOVELTY - Preparation of titanium chelate catalyst involves mixing titanate and a dicarbonyl compound (I), reacting at 40-140 degrees C and 0.03-1 MPa for 0.5-5 hours, gradually increasing the temperature to 60-190 degrees C, distilling the resultant mixture under reduced pressure, and cooling to room temperature. USE - Preparation of titanium chelate catalyst used in synthesis of benzyl or diphenyl carbonate(claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides titanium chelate catalyst having excellent catalyst activity and selectivity during the transesterification reaction, as compared with the existing catalyst, and enables efficiently transesterification reaction of benzyl or diphenyl carbonate with phenol conversion of 70% or more, and transesterification reaction selectivity of 99%, by an economical process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of titanium chelate catalyst involves mixing titanate and a dicarbonyl compound of formula (I), reacting at 40-140 degrees C and 0.03-1 MPa for 0.5-5 hours, gradually increasing the temperature to 60-190 degrees C, distilling the resultant mixture under reduced pressure, and cooling to room temperature. R2=-CH2-, -H2C-CH2-, -HC-CH2-CH3 or -H2C-CH2-CH2-; R1=alkyl group, haloalkyl, phenyl or substituted phenyl;and R3=CH3, -CH2-CH3 or alkoxy.
