摘要：Analyzed is the failure of a stainless steel (SS) hydro-processing reactor that is used for flavor-fragrance test. It is found that the cracks on the reactor wall are typical of stress corrosion cracking caused by chloride from the process catalyst. Recommendations are made to mitigate the aforementioned cracking failure. (c) 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
