摘要:With the growing elderly population, the need for improved mobility assistance products for seniors has become increasingly important. This paper investigates the key contextual factors in the travel scenarios of the elderly to guide the design of elderly assistance mobility products towards a more inclusive, proactive, and human-centered direction. The goal is to optimize the travel experience of the elderly and enhance the quality of their lives. Based on context-awareness, this study identifies four types of travel contexts for the elderly: user context, environmental context, task context, and device context. Through a combination of questionnaire surveys, user interviews, and case studies, the characteristics and needs of these contexts are analyzed and extracted. The paper proposes design strategies for elderly-friendly intelligent assistance mobility products, including: (1) integrating elderly care functions into intelligent products, (2) applying unconscious design principles to adapt intelligent products for the elderly, and (3) endowing products with multifunctionality and portability to adapt to diverse environmental changes. By analyzing the behavioral preferences and psychological needs of the elderly during travel using context research and Maslow's hierarchy of needs, this study identifies potential dynamic needs and summarizes design directions that align with the usage logic of elderly users. These insights provide a foundation for developing more comfortable and convenient travel experiences for the elderly.
