摘要：20世纪90年代初,作为西方译界的执牛耳者,巴斯内特和勒菲弗尔提出了翻译研究的"文化转向"论,至此,翻译学渐至突破了传统研究模式的桎梏,在艺术与科学之争的夹缝中搭建起自己全新的研究平台。毋庸置疑,就当时及目下译界而言,该尝试不啻具有开先河意义:"文化转向"真正实现了翻译研究的重大突破,从而在翻译学研究领域引发了一场前所未有的范式革命。鉴于此,本文拟就相关问题进行详细的梳理与分析,探讨"文化转向"如何全面拓宽了翻译研究的视野,同时又如何与传统译学观点相互龃龉,乃至对经典翻译标准产生了消解与颠覆作用。作者指出,翻译研究业已从形而上的传统藩篱中转向一个崭新的历史语境。基于这一点,本文以顺应选择论为依据,对"文化转向"范式下的翻译问题进行一些思考与实证。
In early 1990s, Susan Bassnett and Andrew Lefevere, in their co-edited collection of essays entitled Translation, History and Culture, famously announced the ＂cultural turn＂ in translation studies, which was later hailed by one of their counterparts as a real breakthrough in the marketplace of translation. It is no doubt that the advent of the theoretical frame merits one of the most exciting events in the field of translation and a revolution of translation paradigm. As the authors argue, translation studies has moved on from its formalist and metaphysical phase to a brand-new historical context. In this light, the authors of the present paper have conducted a detailed analysis of ＂cultural turn＂ as a concept as well as an event that not only provides a new perspective for translation studies but also brings a devastating deconstruction to the translation ideas traditionally cherished. Based on the adaptative-selective theory, among others, the authors aim to establish a translator-oriented adaptive translation paradigm.
