摘要：NOVELTY - The invention provides a dry method of making intercalary vermiculite rapidly, which is characterized by: take vermiculite green ore as raw material and crush it by air flow, take quaternary ammonium salt as intercalary agent, mix and stir it at the temperature of 100 - 180 Deg C in definite proportions in HAAKE torque rheologic meter and finally get intercalary vermiculite. The inter-planar distance of vermiculite (001) is enlarged to 4.03 - 5.25nm. The invention of making intercalary clay mineral is different to traditional heating-stirring means, which is characterized by: there is no introduction of liquid during the intercalary process, final product needs no drying, it simplifies the intercalary technique largely; also it decreases the intercalation time, and enhances intercalation efficiency.
