摘要：NOVELTY - A rhodamine carbohydrate (I), is new. USE - New rhodamine carbohydrate used in preparation of drug for detecting cancer, and fluorescent probe for detecting lectin and glycoprotein receptors on surfaces of cancer cells (all claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A rhodamine carbohydrate of formula (I), its salt or stereoisomer is new. R=group of formula (a); R1=H or carboxy; R2=H, hydroxy, acetyl or substituted amino; R3=hydroxy, acetyl group substituted with amino or group of formula (b) or (c);and R4=1-3C alkyl optionally substituted by 1-3 hydroxy. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for use of rhodamine carbohydrate, which is in preparation of drug for detecting cancer, and fluorescent probe for detecting lectin and glycoprotein receptors on surfaces of cancer cells.
