摘要:NOVELTY - A composite scaffold comprises mesoporous bioactive glass (MBG) scaffold as matrix, and polyglycerol sebacate (PGS) on bioactive glass scaffold. USE - Mesoporous bioactive glass/polyglycerol sebacate composite scaffold used as bone tissue engineering scaffold, cell culture carrier, and drug, protein and/or growth factor releasing carrier; and for preparing bone modification material, bone repairing material and tissue engineered bone (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite scaffold has porosity of 55-98%, average pore diameter of 100-500 mu m, average pore wall thickness of 90-150 mu m, PGS thickness of 5-50 mu m, and compressive strength of 2-15 MPa. The use of PGS coating solves brittleness problem of MBG scaffold, regulates mechanical strength of composite scaffold in the weight range of trabecular bone, does not affect activity of immobilized proteins, promotes cell adhesion and proliferation on stent surface, and does not affect osteogenic activity of MBG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of composite scaffold by coating PGS solution on MBG scaffold, and freeze-drying; and (2) a pharmaceutical composition comprising composite scaffold and medicine or bioactive factors for bone repair.
