摘要:NOVELTY - A high-selectivity catalyst system comprises chromium compound, ligand (I), and activating agent or co-catalyst. USE - High-selectivity catalyst system used in trimerization and tetramerization of ethylene to 1-hexene and 1-octene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The high-selectivity catalyst system has high co-selectivity of 1-hexane and 1-octylene, reduced wax-like products and high activity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A high-selectivity catalyst system comprises chromium compound, ligand of formula: (Ph2)P-N(R1)-P(Ph2), and activating agent or co-catalyst. R1=synthetic phenyl, alkyl or cycloalkyl. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for trimerization and tetramerization of ethylene, which involves adding solvent to an autoclave purged with nitrogen before replacing with ethylene gas, stirring in ethylene gas atmosphere, adding activator or co-catalyst, ligand and chromium compound into the autoclave, stirring, the introducing ethylene gas and adjusting the pressure to 0.1-20 MPa, oligomerizing for 10-20 hours, terminating supply of ethylene gas, cooling to -20 degrees C to 40 degrees C, washing product with deionized water, and obtaining 1-hexene and 1-octene.
