摘要:In this paper, the effects of extended time watching mobile phones on neck muscles fatigue of subway phubber were studied. The field observation and laboratory simulation experiments were proposed to evaluate the neck muscles activity of the subjects. In the field observation, it was found that subway phubbers looking down at the phone on the subway about 80% of the time. In the laboratory simulation experiment, ten subjects were recruited, who need to look down at the phone within 30 minutes while collecting the neck surface EMG signal. The experimental results show that the median frequency (MF) of the sEMG signals from the cervical area gradually decreases over time, which indicates that significant fatigue in the trapezius muscle and splenius capitis muscle occurs as the time increases while there is no fatigue in the sternocleidomastoid muscle. The experiments provide a reliable basis for further development of health managing system.
