摘要：NOVELTY - Anemarrhena saponin (I) is new. USE - Anemarrhena saponin used for preparing medicine for treating senile dementia disease (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Anemarrhena saponin of formula (I) is new. R1=selected from group of formulae (II-V); R4=1-8C substituted or unsubstituted branched alkyl group, or substituted or unsubstituted aryl groups; R5 and R6=H; R7=H, 1-8C linear or branched alkyl group, substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, R7 is a substituted aryl where substituted aryl group is a 1-4C unsaturated alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a cyano group, a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, an amine group; and R8 and R9=1-8C linear or branched alkyl groups, substituted or unsubstituted aryl groups, where substituted aryl group is 1-4C unsaturated alkyl, alkoxy and hydroxy, or group of formulae (VI-VII). An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for pharmaceutical composition, which contains Anemarrhena saponin (I) or pharmaceutically acceptable salt and optionally a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
