摘要:NOVELTY - The preparation method of halogen-free flame retardant polybutylene terephthalate resin involves taking polybutylene terephthalate, ammonium polyphosphate, ethylene glycol, poly(ethylene octene) grafted with glycidyl methacrylate, nucleating agent, additive and reactive additive, drying polybutylene terephthalate, ammonium polyphosphate and expandable graphite at 120 degrees C for 4 hours, mixing above raw materials using high speed mixer, performing extrusion molding, extruding using twin screw extruder, cooling, drying and pelletizing. USE - The method is useful for preparing halogen-free flame retardant polyethylene terephthalate resin (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple preparation of halogen-free flame retardant polyethylene terephthalate resin with excellent mechanical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of halogen-free flame retardant polybutylene terephthalate resin involves taking 75-100 pts. wt. polybutylene terephthalate, 1-20 pts. wt. ammonium polyphosphate, 1-20 pts. wt. ethylene glycol, 5-20 pts. wt. poly(ethylene octene) grafted with glycidyl methacrylate, 1-5 pts. wt. nucleating agent, 1-5 pts. wt. additive and 0.1-4 pts. wt. reactive additive, drying polybutylene terephthalate, ammonium polyphosphate and expandable graphite at 120 degrees C for 4 hours, mixing above raw materials using high speed mixer, performing extrusion molding, extruding using twin screw extruder at 60-240 degrees C, cooling, drying and pelletizing. The polybutylene terephthalate has viscosity of 0.4-0.8 dl/g. The poly(ethylene octene) grafted with glycidyl methacrylate comprises polyolefin thermoplastic elastomer-grafted glycidyl methacrylate having structure of formula (I), and has grafting degree of 0.4-2%. The nucleating agent comprises ethylene/methacrylic acid copolymer. The additive comprises aluminate coupling agent.
