摘要:NOVELTY - A charcoal composite material with integral structure comprises cordierite ceramic and charcoal material (1-15 wt.%) with honeycomb structure. The charcoal composite is coated on cordierite honeycomb channel wall and has macropores with foam structure and nanograde micropores. The charcoal material is active charcoal with foam structure. A diameter of the foam structure hole is 0.5-20 mu m, and the micropores of less than 2 nm is 55-85%. USE - Charcoal composite material for adsorption, catalysis, wave absorption, heat insulation, insulation and corrosion resistance (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of charcoal composite material comprising: (A) immersing cordierite ceramic honeycomb into mixing solution for 0.5-24 hours, the mixing solution being obtained by mixing carbon-enriched precursor, solvent, curing agent and foaming agent; (B) raising the temperature of the immersed cordierite ceramic honeycomb to 50-300 degrees C, and keeping the heat for 1-12 hours to cure and foam the carbon-enriched precursor to from composite (I) containing cordierite ceramic and cured and foamed carbon-enriched precursor; (C) in inert gas, raising the temperature of composite (I) to 500-1000 degrees C, and keeping the heat for 1-12 hours to carbonize the carbon-enriched precursor to form composite (II) containing cordierite ceramic and foam charcoal; and (D) in oxidizing gas, raising the temperature of composite (II) to 500-1000 degrees C, and keeping the heat for 5-240 minutes to obtain the charcoal composite material.
