摘要:NOVELTY - Composite material comprises polypropylene, ethylene-octene copolymer elastomer and hydrophilic inorganic particle composition. The polypropylene is obtained from China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation. The ethylene-octene copolymer elastomer is obtained from Mitsui Chemicals grade DF740. The hydrophilic inorganic particles are nano-silica inorganic particles, which are coated by dopamine. The nano-silica inorganic particles are prepared by dispersing nanosilica into sodium hexametaphosphate, and dissolving in deionized water to obtain 1.5 wt.% silica suspension. USE - Composite material. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has excellent mechanical properties, and improved hydrophilic properties, and is prepared in simple manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Composite material comprises polypropylene, ethylene-octene copolymer elastomer and hydrophilic inorganic particle composition. The polypropylene is obtained from China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation. The ethylene-octene copolymer elastomer is obtained from Mitsui Chemicals grade DF740. The hydrophilic inorganic particles are nano-silica inorganic particles, which are coated by dopamine. The nano-silica inorganic particles are prepared by dispersing nanosilica into sodium hexametaphosphate, and dissolving in deionized water to obtain 1.5 wt.% silica suspension, which is stirred with glass rod for 5 minutes. The obtained silica suspension is added with 10mmol tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane reagent and 0.1mol/L hydrochloric acid in dropwise manner. pH of the suspension is adjusted to 8.5. The obtained suspension is added with 0.1-1 wt.% monomer of dopamine hydrochloride, and reacted for 24 hours to obtain reaction product. The obtained reaction product is centrifuged at high speed, and dried to obtain hydrophilic inorganic particles. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing composite material, which involves: (A) mixing polypropylene, ethylene-octene copolymer elastomer and hydrophilic inorganic particles to obtain mixture, which is subjected to vacuum-drying for 1-10 hours at 40-100 degrees C; (B) mixing the obtained mixture with antioxidants under high speed for 2-10 minutes; and (C) extruding and granulating the mixture to obtain the composite material.
