摘要：在全球化背景下，国家间巨大的经济差距和发达国家的劳动力需求，使得来自发展中国家的国际移民不断增加，父母的国际移民造成的留守儿童成为一个世界性现象，并受到广泛的关注。国际上很多学者进行了很多高质量研究，本文将从国际移民留守儿童的形成原因、规模，对留守儿童的影响、政策等多方面进行批评性回顾，为国内留守儿童的研究提供借鉴。
In the context ofglobalization, there are increasing flows of international migrant labor from developing to developed countries. This is owing to the huge economic inequalities between nations and/or regions and the growing demand for labor in developed areas. Alongside this unprecedented trends in migration, left-behind children have become a worldwide concern. This paper critically reviews the related literature in the international migration context, aiming to provide useful insight to the studies of left-behind children in China＇s internal rural-urban migration.
