摘要:In China, most of the mills can produce pressure vessel steels. In order to understand the current quality level of the main pressure vessel steels, fracture toughness of classical pressure vessel steels was investigated by the unloading compliance method in this paper. Results showed that the qualities of all forgings are excellent, and most hot-rolled plates have good qualities. For Q345R, though unstable fracture happened when hot-rolled plate thickness is more than 100mm, these plates still keep high fracture toughness. For 304SS, low mechanical properties do not meet the relevant standard requirements, and fracture toughness value is also very low. The above investigation tells the truth that the overall quality of pressure vessel steels in China, the quality of the thick hot-rolled plate for some low alloy steels and stainless steels needs to be further improved.. ? 2017 Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.
