摘要：文章旨在探讨翻译中的风格再现问题。简要论述了风格的可译性,列举了刘宓庆提出的三种风格符号换码模式。基于这三种模式分析季羡林的《文学批评无用论》原文和张培基的英译本,发现英译本在重现原文风格上存在缺憾,无论从语域层面、词汇层面还是修辞层面来考虑,均没有达到与原文的契合;并为更好地再现原文风格提供了一些修改建议。
This paper is an attempt to explore the reproduction of the original literary style in translation. Based on the three methods proposed by Liu Miqing, namely corresponding, recasting and deeoloring, this paper compares the original and the translated versions of On the Futility of Literary Criticism by Ji Xianlin and Zhang Peiji respectively, only to find the lack of correspondence in register, lexis and rhetorical devices. Alternatives to the improper translation are suggested in the paper with an eye to reproducing the original style in a better way.
