摘要：NOVELTY - Traditional Chinese medicine comprises 40-60 wt.% glycyrrhizin, 10-20 wt.% licorice flavonoids, 10-20 wt.% ephedrine alkaloid, 5-20 wt.% Cyathula root saponin and 5-10 wt.% nux vomica alkaloid. USE - The traditional Chinese medicine is useful for treating rheumatoid arthritis and arthralgia, relieving pain, diminishing inflammation, dissolving blood stasis, tonifying spleen, regulating flow of qi and enhancing immunity (all claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method of preparing the traditional Chinese medicine which involves (a) performing ultrasonic extraction of licorice root with ethanol twice, filtering extract and subjecting to rotary evaporator and centrifuging extract, adsorbing the extract using HZ-816 macroporous resin and eluting the column using ethanol and collecting eluate and drying to obtain 50-95 wt.% glycyrrhizin; (b) crushing licorice herb and extracting and refluxing with ethanol, centrifuging and concentrating the obtained extract, adsorbing the extract using HZ915 polyamide resin and eluting column with ethanol, collecting and drying eluate to obtain 20-80 wt.% licorice flavonoids; (c) crushing herba ephedrae and extracting and refluxing with ethanol, filtering extract, centrifuging and concentrating under reduced pressure and subjecting extract to rotary evaporator to obtain 20-70 wt.% ephedrine alkaloid; (d) crushing Cyathula root, extracting and refluxing crushed raw material with ethanol for two times, filtering and centrifuging obtained extract, subjecting the extract to rotary evaporator, dissolving extract with deionized water and adsorbing using HZ-816 macroporous resin, eluting column using ethanol, collecting eluate and drying to obtain 5-30 wt.% Cyathula root saponin; (e) crushing nux vomica, extracting and refluxing crushed raw material with ethanol, filtering and centrifuging obtained extract, concentrating extract under reduced pressure, subjecting obtained extract to rotary evaporator to obtain 40-95 wt.% nux vomica alkaloid; and (f) weighing above-mentioned medicinal raw materials and formulating the medicine into capsule or tablet.
