摘要：By dilute hydrochloric acid as catalyst promoted by ferrous chloride, hydrolysis of biomass to produce sugars was conducted using one-step method in a batch wise-operation reactor. Results from orthogonal test design indicated that 2wt% HCl and 0.5wt% FeCl2 was reasonable choice based catalyst on hydrolysis efficiency and process economy. Kinetics equation was obtained which is suitable for describing the hydrolysis of sawdust with first order consecutive mode. Active energies were calculated for hydrolysis of sawdust and decomposition of sugars.
