摘要:To address accurately creep responses of notched components under displacement-controlled condition, a time-dependent stress and strain estimation method (i.e. modified Neuber's method) for notched components under displacement-controlled condition has been proposed, with the deformation characteristics at the far field (i.e. the uniform part) of the component considered. The applicability of the proposed method to notched plates with different geometrical configurations is verified, providing more accurate stress and strain predictions of the notched component than the general Neuber's rule.
