摘要:NOVELTY - Chiral substituted binaphthyl based azacyclic carbene-phosphine compounds (I) and (III) and their respective metal complexes (II) and (IV) are new. USE - (I)-(IV) are useful for preparing asymmetric catalytic reaction catalyst. ADVANTAGE - The preparation method is simple; has mild reaction conditions and easy operation; and skilfully uses the protection and removal of sulfur to prevent the salt forming reaction between the trivalent phosphine compound and halohydrocarbon compound to obtain the required product (claimed). In comparison with single carbene metal complex or single phosphine metal complex, the binaphthyl based azacyclic carbene-phosphine ligand metal complexes have distinct reactivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Chiral substituted binaphthyl based azacyclic carbene-phosphine compounds of formulae (I) and (III) and their respective metal complexes of formulae (II) and (IV) are new. R1-R8 = H or 1-6C alkyl, 2-8C cycloalkyl, 2-6C alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, aralkyl or aryl alkenyl, aryloxy, alkoxy, halo, NO2, ester group, amide group, CF3, cyano or alkyl (substituted by 2-6C alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, aralkyl, aryl alkenyl, aryloxy, alkoxy, halo, NO2, ester group, amide group, CF3 or cyano); X = halo, tetrafluoroborate, hexafluoroantimonate, hexafluorophosphate, fluoroarylborate group of formula (BAr'F-), tetraphenyl borate, carboxylate, fluorocarboxylate, trifluoromethanesulfonate or cyanide; Ar' = not defined; and M = transition metal i.e. Ru, Rh, Pd, Ir, Pt, Cu, Ag or Au. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing chiral substituted binaphthyl based azacyclic carbene-phosphine compounds.
