摘要:NOVELTY - Catalyst comprises (in wt.%): transition metal oxide and molybdenum oxide, where content of molybdenum is 0.1-10%. USE - Catalyst used in catalytic oxidation of tritiated hydrogen (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst is hydrophobically modified, and has improved duration and activity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing catalyst, which involves: (A) preparing transition metal oxide by adding dropwise aqueous solution of transition metal oxide in aqueous sodium hydroxide solution, where mass fraction of water is 10-50% in transition metal oxide solution and water content is 10-20% in aqueous sodium hydroxide solution; (B) stirring the obtained mixture at room temperature; (C) filtering the obtained material; (D) washing the filtered material; (E) drying the washed material; (F) calcining the obtained material in a muffle furnace at 50 degrees C, where heating speed is 2.5 degrees C per minute; (G) maintaining the temperature at 500 degrees C for 4 hours to obtain transition metal oxide; (H) grinding the obtained transition metal oxide; (I) weighing the obtained transition metal oxide; (J) preparing 3-8% of transition metal oxide solution in toluene; (K) refluxing the obtained transition metal oxide solution in toluene and n-octyl triethoxysilane 120 degrees C for 5 hours, where mass ratio of transition metal oxide solution and n-octyl triethoxysilane is 1:3; (L) filtering the obtained product; (M) washing the filtered material with ethanol; (N) drying the washed material at 110 degrees C to obtain transition metal oxide having hydrophobic properties; (O) depositing molybdenum load on the obtained transition metal oxide by dipping; and (P) precipitating the obtained product to obtain the desired product.
