摘要:NOVELTY - Low-temperature catalytic hydrogenation catalyst comprises (in wt.%): phosphoric acid (0.1-5), palladium (0.1-10) and rest amount of aluminum oxide. USE - Low-temperature catalytic hydrogenation catalyst for phenolic compounds in water to eliminate chlorobenzene, and for transforming chlorobenzene into cyclohexanone, phenol and hydrogen chloride (all claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing a low-temperature catalytic hydrogenation catalyst, which involves: (A) mixing aluminum hydroxide with phosphoric acid solution; (B) adding proper amount of water containing a surfactant to the mixture; (C) stirring the mixture, and then adding tetramethylammonium hydroxide aqueous solution to the mixture; and (D) filtering, washing and drying the material at less than 500 degrees C in presence of air to obtain modified alumina carrier.
